Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EagerWorkouts handles information when you use our mobile application and this website. We’ve tried to write it in plain English rather than dense legal language.
1. Who operates EagerWorkouts
EagerWorkouts is operated by The Eagerman’s Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16237368), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. In this policy, “EagerWorkouts”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Eagerman’s Limited.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the EagerWorkouts mobile application and to this website. It does not apply to any third-party website, app or service you may reach through a link from ours.
3. Information stored by the app
EagerWorkouts is designed to work without requiring you to create an account. To provide its features, the app works with two broad categories of information:
- information stored locally on your device; and
- limited information sent over the network to retrieve exercise demonstration media.
We describe each of these in more detail below, so you can see exactly what happens with your information.
4. Information stored locally on your device
The app stores certain information locally in the app’s storage on your device, so that it can provide its features. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
- your first name;
- your training preferences and workout settings;
- completed workout information and workout history, including exercises, sets, repetitions and timestamps;
- Recovery check-in information (see section 5); and
- your notification and reminder preferences.
EagerWorkouts does not currently operate a user account or login system, so this information is not tied to a central EagerWorkouts account and is not routinely sent to us as part of normal app use.
5. Recovery and check-in information
EagerWorkouts includes a Recovery feature that shows a summary of your recent training and asks a short, subjective daily check-in. This may include information you choose to record about things like sleep, energy, stress, soreness and, optionally, sore areas.
This information is intended to help you reflect on how you’re training. It is not a medical assessment, and EagerWorkouts does not use it to diagnose, monitor or treat any medical condition. Recovery check-in information is stored locally on your device in the same way as the other app data described in section 4.
6. Exercise media and network requests
Exercise information in the app includes demonstration media and instructions. To display this media, the app requests it through EagerWorkouts infrastructure, which uses Cloudflare for service delivery. When you view an exercise, the app sends an identifier for that exercise to this service and receives a temporary, signed link to the relevant media in return.
This request does not include your profile information, workout history or Recovery check-in answers. As with any request made over the internet, it necessarily involves standard technical and network information — such as your device’s IP address — being processed by the infrastructure that delivers the media to you, in the same way any website or app request works. We do not use this request to build a profile of you.
7. Notifications
The app can schedule notifications and reminders. These are scheduled locally on your device, and doing so does not currently involve generating or sending a push-notification token to us.
8. Analytics, advertising and tracking
EagerWorkouts does not currently include analytics software development kits (SDKs), advertising SDKs, or attribution/tracking SDKs, and we do not currently show advertising in the app. This website does not use cookies or website analytics tools, and does not display a cookie banner.
If this changes in the future — for example, if we introduce analytics to help us understand how the app is used — we will update this policy before doing so.
9. Accounts and payments
EagerWorkouts does not currently have a user account or login system, and does not currently offer subscriptions or process any in-app payments. Because there is no account, there is no account profile held by us, and no payment information is collected by the app.
10. Lawful basis for processing
Much of the information described in this policy — such as your workout history, preferences and Recovery check-in answers — is stored locally on your device and is not routinely sent to us, for the reasons explained in sections 3 to 9. Where The Eagerman’s Limited does process personal data in connection with providing EagerWorkouts, we rely on one of the following lawful bases under UK data protection law, depending on the purpose:
- Performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to provide a feature or functionality you have asked to use, such as sending an exercise identifier to retrieve the exercise media described in section 6; and
- Legitimate interests — for the limited technical and network information that is inherent to any request made over the internet, as described in section 6. Our legitimate interest here is narrow: operating and securing EagerWorkouts, and delivering the app functionality you have requested.
Where your device asks you to grant a permission — for example, to allow notifications — that permission is controlled by your device’s operating system rather than by us, and does not by itself establish a separate lawful basis for processing by us beyond what is described above.
11. Data retention and deletion
Because app data is stored locally on your device rather than on a central account, information stored by the app generally remains on your device until it is overwritten through normal use of the app, you clear the app’s data through your device settings, or you uninstall the app — depending on the type of data and how your device handles app storage.
EagerWorkouts does not currently have an in-app account to delete, so there is currently no “Delete Account” control within the app. You can remove locally stored app data at any time by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app using your device’s settings.
12. Service providers and infrastructure
We use Cloudflare to help deliver exercise media and related infrastructure, as described in section 6. Cloudflare processes the technical request information necessary to deliver that service. We have not set out specific retention periods for this infrastructure provider here, as we do not control it directly — if you would like more information, please contact us using the details in section 18.
13. International processing
Our infrastructure and service providers, including Cloudflare, may process limited technical information in countries outside the UK as part of how they deliver their services. Where an international transfer of personal data is subject to UK data protection requirements, appropriate safeguards must be used as required by applicable law. We have not identified a specific transfer mechanism, country or safeguard to name here, and we will update this policy if that changes in a way that requires further disclosure. If you would like more information, you can contact us using the details in section 18.
14. Security
We take reasonable care to protect the information described in this policy, and we choose infrastructure providers who maintain their own security measures. However, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. Your privacy rights
Where we act as a data controller for personal data, UK data protection law gives you certain rights, which may include the right to ask what information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because EagerWorkouts does not operate a user account and most app data is stored locally on your device, in practice much of the information described in this policy is held only by you, on your device, rather than by us. If you have a request relating to information you believe we hold, please contact us using the details in section 18 and we will do our best to help.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you have concerns about how your information is handled.
16. Children and minimum age
EagerWorkouts is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly direct EagerWorkouts at, or collect information from, children under 16.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the app’s features or our infrastructure change. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
